Introducing the QSAD Centurion Annual Giving Society:
The QSAD Centurion Annual Giving Society is a leadership giving club for alumni, parents and friends who generously support scholarships at USC Mann.
Members of QSAD make a difference in the lives of students and the USC Mann community every day through their dedicated support. As an expression of gratitude, members will enjoy courtesies, including special recognition, unique engagement opportunities, select communications and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Serving our Community:
The South LA Pharmacy will be a new 4,000-square-foot facility designed to provide essential pharmacy services, medication management, and health literacy programs to address healthcare access gaps in one of LA's most underserved communities.
"The USC South Los Angeles Pharmacy is a vital initiative to bridge the healthcare gap in an area that has long been underserved, bringing essential pharmacy services, education, and health empowerment directly to the community."
~ Raffi Svadjian, PharmD, MBA, Executive Director, USC Pharmacies
At this year’s Alumni Awards Gala, February 25, 2025, all proceeds from the evening will support the USC South Los Angeles Pharmacy.
Launch of the Sports Pharmacy Program:
The USC Mann School’s executive certificate in sports pharmacy is designed to train and equip pharmacists to advise and support athletes in making optimal choices regarding effective clinical drug and nutritional supplement options while ensuring compliance with the rules of the World Anti-Doping Code, sports federations and national anti-doping agencies.
This program is offered for both pharmacists as well as students actively enrolled in a pharmacy program. This is a four-course executive certificate program with two online courses and one hybrid course that is mostly online, with a full weekend of assessment training. Additionally, the program requires a thesis course that may be substituted by experiential education. Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural cohort, with classes starting in January 2025.
