USC Viterbi School of Engineering

Engineering a Better World for All Humanity
With a diverse and talented student population, outstanding faculty, transformational research, and impactful outreach, the USC Viterbi School of Engineering is utilizing engineering and technology to change the world by solving Grand Challenge-like problems. There has never been a better time to be an engineer…or an engineering student here at USC.
We live in transformative times, where the rate of change is accelerating and where the convergence of disciplines has never been stronger. At USC Viterbi, our students develop imaginative, impactful solutions that address global challenges in health, sustainability, security, and enriching life — in all of their dimensions. We offer human-centric solutions in an era where technology and humanity are intertwined as never before.
On June 4, Trojans from all over the world will come together and celebrate the collective power of giving during USC Day of SCupport. The impact of your gift will have a tremendous influence on the lives of our students as they work diligently to pursue an engineering degree at USC Viterbi.
Here’s what two of our current Trojan engineering students, Rania and Kaden, have to say about the impact of donor support and what it has meant to them in shaping their student experience:

"Because of the kindness of donors, I have been able to fully dedicate myself to both my academic and extracurricular pursuits, which have profoundly shaped my USC experience. I’ve come to realize how impactful engineering can be in improving communities."
Rania Ahmad ’26 Chemical Engineering
"Donor support has been instrumental in allowing me to fully dedicate myself to my endeavors. The opportunities I’ve had — to engage in cutting-edge research, to collaborate with passionate peers, and to push my limits academically and personally — are a direct result of the resources and encouragement donor generosity has provided."
Kaden Corrow-Webb ’27 Chemical Engineering & Physics

Please make a gift on June 4 and help us to uphold the tradition of Trojans helping Trojans. No matter the size of your gift, your participation on Day of SCupport will make a difference to our engineering students, faculty, and staff.
Recent accomplishments at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering
In the fall of 2024, USC Viterbi celebrated the opening of the USC School of Advanced Computing with the ribbon-cutting ceremony of our Dr. Allen and Charlotte Ginsburg Human-Centered Computation Hall.
We recently celebrated two decades of innovation and transformative research at the Department of Astronautical Engineering.
Also celebrating 20 years of innovation, our Rocket Propulsion Lab recently made space history by launching a rocket to an altitude of 470,000 feet. That set an international record by soaring further into space than any non-governmental, non-commercial group has ever flown before.
USC Viterbi and the Keck School of Medicine have been collaborating on human trials for a revolutionary brain prosthesis to repair and restore lost memories.
We recently launched a first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in artificial intelligence and operations research.
These and so many of our other achievements, past and present, are only possible because of the support from our alumni, parents, and friends. No matter what you choose to support at USC Viterbi — scholarships or fellowships, a specific department, one of our many student teams, an academic or research program, Ginsburg Hall, one of our K-12 STEM programs, or any other area at USC Viterbi — please remember that a gift of any size makes a difference.
We invite you to consider making a gift today and help us to continue to engineer a better world for all humanity.
Thank you and FIGHT ON!
