Engineering a Better World for All Humanity
At the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, a vibrant community of talented students and renowned faculty is pushing the boundaries of what engineering can achieve.
Our students develop imaginative, impactful solutions that address global challenges in health, sustainability, security, and enriching life in all of their dimensions. We offer human-centric solutions in an era where technology and humanity are intertwined as never before.
Recent accomplishments at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering
- Viterbi researchers engineered a “smart” immune cell that can be activated by ultrasound to constantly sense and destroy tumor cells. This is a breakthrough with big potential for cancer therapy.
- This fall, USC Viterbi launched a new Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, an interdisciplinary undergraduate program combining computer science, electrical engineering, and systems engineering.
- The USC Liquid Propulsion Lab (LPL) made key advances in 3D-printed, regeneratively-cooled liquid rocket engines. Their work is pushing toward sustainable, reusable rocket technology and helping to train the next generation of aerospace engineers.
All of these achievements, and countless others, are made possible by the generosity of our alumni, parents, and friends. Whether you support scholarships or fellowships, a specific department, a student team, a research program, or one of our K‑12 STEM initiatives, every gift makes a meaningful impact.
We invite you to join us in shaping the future and help USC Viterbi continue to engineer a better world for all humanity.
Thank you and FIGHT ON!
