USC Chan Division of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy
USC Chan Vision Scholarship
By focusing on the significance of life's everyday activities, USC Chan occupational therapists and occupational scientists help all people to realize healthier, happier and more productive lives.
Yet, we recognize that the profession of occupational science and the discipline of occupational therapy are not fully reflective of the diverse populations we are privileged to serve. To help address that gap, we are committed to expanding diversity in the work force by making the USC Chan Vision Scholarship available to future practitioners from underrepresented ethnic and racial backgrounds and by training dedicated leaders who will influence policies, environments and complex systems.
Every gift to the USC Chan Vision Scholarship assists deserving students in their journey to becoming outstanding researchers and practitioners and positive consideration in the award selection process shall be given to USC Chan students who self-identify as hailing from underrepresented backgrounds. By building a more diverse student body today, we are making a direct commitment on behalf of all Trojans towards a more inclusive and culturally-responsive tomorrow for both the discipline of occupational science and the profession of occupational therapy.
Transforming health and well-being through meaningful occupation
The USC Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is improving the quality of life of people and communities across the world. As the top-ranked occupational therapy graduate program according to U.S. News and World Report, we've hailed as a leader in generating innovation and setting the pace for the profession. Support for the USC Florence Clark Vanguard Fund is vital in our pursuit to enhance the ordinary and extraordinary activities of life for all people, and provides flexible funds allowing the division to invest as needed while shaping the future of occupational science and occupational therapy. Such an investment will enable the division to continue to lead innovation to transform health and well-being through meaningful occupations; leverage our unique strengths across education, research and practice to mobilize knowledge; and improve health equity, well-being and quality of life across local, national and global communities.
By making a gift to USC Chan, you'll be joining in our shared purpose as we define innovative and collaborative approaches that elevate occupational therapy for all and support our community in living occupationally-enriched lives.
Thank you for your support. Fight On!
