Throughout SDA’s history, scholarship has always been a priority. This year is no exception. With scholarship support, we maintain our commitment to attract the country’s best talent and to ensure that financial barriers don’t keep us from securing top-tier talent to the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Critical scholarship support helps those students who are faced with an unexpected gap in financial need when it comes to accepting SDA’s admissions to USC. With a more robust scholarship fund, the School will not only be able to increase the number of students who receive financial assistance, but also enhance support per student, allowing us to compete stride for stride in attracting the best students. A larger scholarship fund will also make a meaningful difference in SDA’s priority of diversifying its undergraduate student population now and into the future. By growing our scholarship fund, we will ensure that the School is available to trailblazing student talent, regardless of their financial background. With rising tuition and growing student need, the School is currently raising $10 million in endowment funds to meet its far-reaching scholarship goals. This will allow the School to double the number of scholarships to incoming students each year.
