USC Street Medicine
At Keck Medicine of USC, we serve one of the most populous and diverse counties in the nation.
Our community outreach and engagement programs are innovative, comprehensive, and effective. Through our USC Street Medicine program, we send teams of physicians, nurses, and community health workers out to treat some of the 59,000 people who are homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. We have opened cancer wellness HUBS to address cancer health disparities in neighborhoods throughout the city. We are nationally recognized for our efforts to increase participation in clinical trials for populations traditionally underserved in medicine. We implement patient navigation programs to help increase access to care and shepherd patients and families through the health system, and we promote good health and preventative medicine through public education and events.
Support the USC Street Medicine fund and help reduce health care burdens, remove barriers to care, and create a more equitable future.
