USC Gould Need-Based Scholarship Program
The USC Gould Need-Based Scholarship Program supports students with financial needs not fully met by their merit scholarships.
It is USC Gould’s goal to ensure that every one of our students has the resources they need to attend and be successful. For some of our students, that means needing support beyond the merit scholarships they receive to cover their requisite expenses and also to take advantage of the co- and extracurricular opportunities that enrich the law school experience. Incoming 1Ls apply for these scholarships, which are renewed for each of their three years. Additional support for this program will allow the law school to award these scholarships to more deserving students and to increase the impact of each award.
“Receiving this scholarship was not just a financial relief, but also a source of encouragement since it allowed me to focus more on my studies and extracurricular activities without the constant worry of financial burdens. The moment I received the notification of this scholarship, I felt a profound sense of gratitude and responsibility; it reinforced my commitment to excel in my legal studies. Your support is not just a contribution towards my education, but an investment in the future of the legal profession. I am determined to pay this kindness forward in my future career, ensuring that the impact of your gift extends beyond my own education.”– USC Gould 2L Student
